Terms of Use
These terms govern this marketing website only. They are not an end-user license for apps or games named on the site, and they are not a commercial offer, MSA, or NDA. Paid work, if any, is governed by a separate written agreement.
1. Agreement
By using this website you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. Who we are
This website is operated by TVL Labs under the brand The Social Experiment (“TSE”, “we”, “us”). Contact: contact@tvl-labs.io.
3. The website
The site is informational. Copy, statistics, product names, “live” indicators, counters, and status lines are presented as marketing. They are not a real-time operations console, not audited financial figures, and not a promise that a named product is currently for sale, downloadable, or available in your country.
Nothing on this site is an offer to sell securities, a warranty, professional advice, or a binding commitment to run a particular experiment with you.
4. Other products
The homepage mentions other work (including viral content, apps, and games). Visiting this website does not create an account on those products and does not license them to you. Each product has, or should have, its own terms if you actually use it.
5. Intellectual property
Unless a page says otherwise, the text, layout, graphics, and brand names on this site are owned by TVL Labs or used with permission. You may view the site and share a link to it. You may not copy the site, scrape it at a volume that burdens the server, pass it off as your own, or use “The Social Experiment”, “TSE”, or “TVL Labs” as your mark without written permission.
Short quotation with credit is allowed. That is not a license to reuse the design system or to train a model on the site as a substitute for the site itself.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the site to:
- break or overload the server, inject scripts, or probe it except as allowed by a written security arrangement with us;
- misrepresent yourself as TVL Labs or The Social Experiment;
- harvest emails or content with automated tools in a way that harms the service;
- post or send unlawful material to contact@tvl-labs.io.
7. Third-party sites and platforms
Names such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and App Store are other people’s marks. Links or mentions are not endorsements, and we are not those companies. If you follow a third-party service, their terms apply.
The homepage loads Google Fonts and, on the homepage only, the Tailwind CSS CDN. Those providers have their own terms. See the Privacy Policy for what that means for your data.
8. Email
If you email contact@tvl-labs.io, you grant us a license to read the message and to use the information in it to reply and to consider whatever you proposed. Sending an email does not start a paid engagement, a partnership, or a confidentiality obligation unless we say so in a signed writing. Do not send secrets, personal data about other people, or anything you do not have the right to share.
9. Disclaimer
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it is complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TVL Labs and its people are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of this website. Our total liability for claims arising out of this site is limited to USD $100, or the amount you paid us (if any) to access this website, whichever is greater. Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed.
11. Changes
We may change the site or these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when the terms change. If you keep using the site after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the site.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where TVL Labs maintains its principal place of business, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence still apply if they cannot be waived. Courts in that jurisdiction may hear disputes, without limiting any non-waivable right you have to bring a claim where you live.
We have not named a specific company registration, street address, or choice-of-law state in these terms because that detail is not published on this website. For a formal notice, email contact@tvl-labs.io and we will provide the current legal-entity details.
13. General
If a part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are the whole agreement for use of this website. They do not create a partnership or employment relationship. We may assign our rights; you may not assign yours without our consent.
