Privacy Policy
This policy applies only to this marketing website. It does not cover mobile apps, games, social products, or other experiments named on the site (including AI Frenemy, Everybody, Aura Metrics, and similar). Those products, if they collect personal data, need their own notices.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by TVL Labs under the brand The Social Experiment (“TSE”, “we”, “us”). For privacy questions, email contact@tvl-labs.io.
2. What this site is
This site is a static, informational landing page. It has no user accounts, no login, no checkout, and no contact form. If you write to us, you do that through your own email client via contact@tvl-labs.io.
3. What we collect on this website
We do not run first-party analytics, advertising pixels, or account databases on this website. We do not ask you to submit a name, email, or other personal data through a form on this site.
We may receive personal data if you choose to email us. That typically includes your email address, the content of your message, and any metadata your mail provider attaches (for example, date sent).
Our web host or the machine serving this site may also keep standard server logs for a short time (for example IP address, requested URL, user agent, and timestamp). Those logs are used to operate and debug the site, not to build a marketing profile.
4. Third-party services loaded by this site
The page loads assets from third parties so the design can render:
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) — IBM Plex Sans and IBM Plex Mono. Google may process your IP address and technical data when the font files are requested. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Tailwind CSS CDN (cdn.tailwindcss.com) — stylesheet runtime used by the homepage. The CDN operator may process your IP address and technical data when that script is requested.
Legal pages on this site do not load the Tailwind CDN. They still load Google Fonts.
We do not control those third parties. If you block them (for example with a content blocker), the site should still be readable with your system fonts.
5. Cookies
This website does not set a first-party cookie for login, tracking, or advertising. Third-party font and CDN requests may result in cookies or similar storage being set by those providers, according to their own policies. We do not use that information to identify you.
6. How we use information
If you email us, we use that message to reply, to evaluate a collaboration, or to keep a record of the conversation. Server logs, if kept, are used to keep the site up and to investigate abuse.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use information collected on this website for targeted advertising.
7. Sharing
We share information only when we must: with a processor who helps us run email or hosting, if the law requires it, or if you ask us to. Product names and statistics on the homepage are marketing copy, not a statement that we share your data with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or any app store.
8. Retention
Email we receive is kept as long as needed to handle the request and for a reasonable business record, then deleted or archived under our ordinary mailbox practices. Server logs, if any, are rotated on a short cycle. We do not keep a browsing history of individual visitors on this static site.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, or to object. For this website, the personal data we are likely to hold is limited to emails you sent us.
To make a request, email contact@tvl-labs.io from the address you used to contact us, and say what you want us to do. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can. We may need to confirm it is you before changing or deleting a record.
This section is a description of how to reach us. It is not a claim that we are registered with a particular data-protection authority, that we have appointed a statutory DPO, or that a named certification (SOC 2 or similar) covers this website.
10. Children
This website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this site. If you believe a child has emailed us, write to contact@tvl-labs.io and we will delete the message when we can identify it.
11. International transfers
If you visit the site or email us from another country, your information may be processed where TVL Labs, its email provider, or the third-party services in section 4 operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your own.
12. Changes
We may update this policy when the site or our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means the new policy applies to that later use.
